What are booking types?

4 available booking types

All Guest bookings via Casiola are visible in Casiola Pink. Casiola collects funds from the guest and submits the sales & use and tourist development taxes on your behalf.

Add a booking

When you add a booking through myCasiola, there are 3 possible types available:

For yourself – you or your family members will occupy the home and taxes do not have to be submitted. These bookings are visible in yellow.
For your guests – these reservations are where you would collect the funds from your guest and are responsible for submitting the sales & use and tourist development taxes to the state and county. Guest bookings are green.
Owner Referral – you can set the price you would like to charge and Casiola will collect the funds from the guest as well as submit the sales & use and tourist development taxes on your behalf. Referral bookings are blue.

There’s a 5th colour visible on the booking calendar: grey. These are dates that are put on “Hold”. Occasionally Casiola will need some time to do maintenance in your vacation home and no bookings are possible on these dates. We always try to limit these periods to a minimum.
